hand. At many casinos the game also has a $1 progressive jackpot side
bet where you can win $100,000 or more if you get a royal flush.

Game Sequence
To play you have to place a bet on the Ante section of the table.
This is the cost to see your cards. You are then dealt five cards
and the dealer is dealt five cards with one card face up.
At this point you have to decide whether you want to bet or if your
hand has no chance of winning fold. If you decide to play on you have
to place a bet that is double the amount of your ante.
The dealers hand is revealed and both hands are compared to see who
is the winner. The pay offs vary depending on your hand and if the
dealers hand qualifies.
The dealer must receive a hand of Ace, King or higher to qualify.
If the dealer does not qualify and you have placed a play bet then
you get double your ante and your play bet i is returned to you.
This is one feature of Caribbean stud that can be a little frustrating
especially if you have a great hand and the dealer fails to qualify.
It is possible to be dealt a royal flush and just get double your
ante bet paid as apposed to the 100 pay off for a royal.
Progressive Jackpot Side Bet
There is often a side bet that you can also make which is usually
$1. This side bet gives you access to the progressive jackpot. If
you hit a straight flush or a royal flush you receive part of the
jackpot or the whole jackpot respectively.
